The Nothing Phone (4a) continues the brand’s unique design philosophy with a semi-transparent back panel and an upgraded Glyph lighting interface.

The rear panel integrates 63 mini-LED lights arranged in six individually addressable zones. These lights provide visual notifications, call alerts, and camera fill lighting, creating a unique interactive experience.

Build highlights include:

• Glass front with Gorilla Glass 7i protection

• Glass back with a plastic frame

• IP64 dust and splash resistance

• Manufacturer-rated water resistance up to 25 cm for 20 minutes

The phone measures 164 × 77.6 × 8.6 mm and weighs 204.5 g, giving it a solid in-hand feel.

With a 1224 × 2720 resolution and ~440 PPI pixel density, the screen delivers sharp images and detailed visuals. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and also supports Ultra HDR images.

Performance and Software

The Nothing Phone (4a) is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4 nm process.

Processor configuration:

• 4× Cortex-A520 at 1.8 GHz

Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU, which enables smooth gameplay and responsive graphics performance.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1, known for its clean interface, minimal bloatware, and unique widgets. Nothing promises up to three major Android upgrades.

The device offers multiple storage options:

Storage uses UFS 3.1 technology for faster data access and app loading speeds.

The phone does not include a microSD card slot, so storage cannot be expanded.
